International Baccalaureate Exam Credit

IB Exam Score Equivalency

Two course credits are granted for each score of 5 or above on a Higher Level examination, and one course credit for each score of 5 or above on a Standard Level examination, for a maximum of nine course credits. The exemption and/or credit awarded for various exams and scores can be found below.

Cornell College will work with students who would have taken IB Exams during the spring/summer of 2020 on an individual basis to determine if there is an appropriate alternate way to award IB credit through taking departmental proficiency exams or something similar.
