Introducing Cornell’s RamBox Amazon locker
Cornell College has partnered with Amazon to provide a HUB locker right here on campus! Amazon lockers are secure, self-service kiosks available 24x7. You can select the RamBox as your delivery address, and pick up your orders at that location by using the Amazon Shopping app on your phone.
How do I ship my package to the RamBox locker?
First, add the RamBox to your Amazon address book.
- Go into your account and select Your Addresses then Add an Address.
- Select the option to find an Amazon collection near you.
- Search 52314 and select the Amazon Hub Locker - RamBox to be added to your address book.
Then, during checkout, select the RamBox as your shipping address. Once your package has been delivered, Amazon will send you a confirmation email.
Where can I find the locker on campus?
You can find our locker named RamBox behind the Thomas Commons near the 15-minute parking.
Do I need the Amazon Shopping app on my smartphone?
The Amazon Shopping app is required and your Bluetooth must be turned on.
How do I pick up my package from the RamBox?
- When you are at the locker, open your delivery confirmation email and select Start Pickup or go to Your Orders in the Amazon Shopping App.
- Select Track Package.
- To connect to the locker, select Start Pickup.
- Once you're connected, select Open Locker.
- The locker slot will open and you can take out your package.
How long do I have to pick up my package?
You have 3 calendar days (not business days!) to pick up your package. If you’re not able to collect your package within this time-frame, it will be returned for a refund.
Can someone else pick up my package for me?
Yes! Simply forward the delivery confirmation email to your proxy (the person picking up your package) and instruct them to follow the directions for picking up. They will need to have the Amazon Shopping app on their phone.
How much does using a locker cost?
There is no additional cost to use an Amazon Hub Locker.
Can I return an item through the locker?
Yes. If your item is eligible to be returned to a locker, you will see Amazon Hub Locker as a dropoff option during the returns process on Amazon.com. If you have a return label the package can be dropped off at the Mail and Service Center.
Are there limits to what I can get delivered to the locker?
Yes, but not very many. Generally, most packages are able to be delivered and picked up from the Locker. However, if a package is too heavy or too large then the locker will not be a delivery option.
Will the Mail and Service Center still receive Amazon packages?
Yes! The Mail and Service Center will always be a delivery option for all of your packages.
