Campus Recreation

Cornell offers many recreation and fitness opportunities, whatever your interests and ability level. Our Campus Recreation Office coordinates a number of intramural sports, ranging from basketball to badminton, dodgeball to floor hockey. We also organize wellness programs such as yoga and Pilates to help all Cornellians stay fit and healthy.

In addition, students organize recreation activities for beginners and experts alike in activities as diverse as mountaineering, capoeira, and swing dancing. And student-run club teams engage in league competition in sports such as ice hockey and lacrosse.

Our outstanding athletic facilities include a newly expanded weight room and resurfaced indoor track. And the Roe Howard Fitness Center, centrally located in The Commons, offers modern exercise equipment with personal headsets and a bank of televisions.
