Find your place in a student club

Immerse yourself in the activities that excite you. Get active in the community. Meet classmates that share your interests and form lifelong bonds. By joining student organizations, you can stay active in things you love and discover new passions.

It’s easy to get involved at Cornell College. Thanks to our One Course At A Time block schedule, you’ll have time to branch out, have fun, and join the orgs that interest you. It’s all part of the Cornell experience—classes end at 3 p.m. every day, for everyone.

So, you want to join ultimate frisbee, practice with the student theatre group, and write for The Cornellian? Go for it. Your schedule is built for exploration.

Active clubs and organizations

Student clubs and organizations fall into different categories, from academic to special interest. If you don’t see an organization that you were hoping to find, that’s no problem—you can start one and lead it yourself. We welcome students to create new clubs and organizations every year!

Academic clubs

Gain experience in your chosen field, expand your knowledge, and meet peers who are just as passionate about learning as you.

“I’m a part of the college cheer team which has been really fun. Also part of the campus Hillel. They are all super nice and I was able to find a really strong community, which was something really big when I was looking for colleges, a Jewish community on campus. I’ve also started to do my own show on the radio station.”

“The biggest club I’m in is PAAC. We do most of the events you see in the Common area of the OC. We invite comedians over, we hold game shows, we do casino night, which is one of our biggest events of the year, and we give away stuff, which is always fun.”
