After getting a billing statement, check the numbers
When you get your billing statement, it’s important to review your bill in self service. Log in with your Cornell email address and password and click the “Finances” tab and then “Statement”. Your statement will include all charges and financial aid applied to your account. This information is updated monthly.
If something doesn’t look accurate, it’s possible that you have outside scholarships that haven’t been submitted to the college yet, or the Office of Financial Assistance hasn’t received all of your required documents for the semester. It’s important to stay on top of this so your bill is accurate. You can check the “Balance” section of your “Finance” tab every few days to see if changes have been applied to your account.
Payment options for student bills
Cornell offers the option to pay the entire semester in full or break a semester’s payments up into 5 monthly installments. Students must declare how they will be making their semester payments at the beginning of each semester billing cycle. The monthly option will have an additional surcharge of $50 set-up fee each semester.
When are payments due?
If you choose the full semester payment option, the fall payment is due in August and the spring payment is due in January. If you choose the monthly payment option, fall payments run August-December; spring payments run January-May. The exact dates vary year to year. See this year’s payment schedule details.
How are payments made?
You can pay online through Meadow Pay, mail a payment, or pay via phone with an e-check or credit or debit card. Details about making payments.
