4+1 Business Master’s Degree options with London Metropolitan University
Cornell has partnered with London Metropolitan University to offer a pathway to 14 Master's degrees at London Metropolitan University in London, England. With this program you complete your 4-year degree in Economics and Business at Cornell, and then spend your fifth year in London with a concentrated course of study in your Master's program earning a Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc) or Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Requirements to qualify for admission to the Master's degree program
If you are interested in the London Met Master's degree program, you should discuss your candidacy with the Economics and Business department chair as early as possible to see if the program is a good fit for you.
In order to qualify for the program you will need to:
- 2.7 GPA when you complete your B.A. at Cornell
- Meet any program-specific additional requirements (example: GCSE math equivalency, programming experience, or program interview)
- Hold a current passport and have no restrictions against traveling to the United Kingdom
- Proven ability to pay for tuition and housing costs
London Met programs begin in September of the academic year and the application deadline will be in July of the academic year you wish to attend. Your registration deposit will be due at the beginning of August, and international orientation begins in mid-September.
Financial aid available to program participants
London Met offers scholarship packages exclusively for students from the United States and is approved for US Federal loans through the FAFSA program. The USA Elite Scholarship for 2025-26 was £5,500 through the Bright Futures Award and Elite Component and students are automatically considered upon admission.
