Block Ready at the Bookstore

Books and course material auto-delivery
Have you wondered how you find the right editions of books and the best prices for them each block? Block Ready at the Bookstore has that covered. Costs for your required course materials will be conveniently included in your semester tuition and fees, and you’ll benefit from the group discount through the college bookstore.
Better yet, your books are automatically delivered to Moodle for you to access before each block starts. If you need any physical materials, they’ll be available at the campus bookstore and you’ll get an email letting you know when they’re available to pick up with plenty of time before the block starts–up to 1 week.
Benefits of Block Ready at the Bookstore
- Start every class confident you’re ready with all your required materials—always the right book and the right edition!
- Easily access your digital course materials through Moodle on-demand.
- The low, per-course fee means you’ll get all your course materials for about the cost of one new textbook.
- One flat fee per course automatically added to your tuition and fees bill—$88 per block or $352 per semester.
- Change a course? No problem. Your new materials will show up in My Materials in Moodle automatically.
How it works
Step 1 - Complete your course registration for the academic year. Your course plan is automatically loaded into Block Ready at the Bookstore. You have the option to opt-out of the program at the beginning of each semester.
Step 2 The college bookstore sources all the materials your professors identify as required for the course, and prepares digital versions for moodle and orders any materials that aren’t available digitally.
Step 3 Digital materials are delivered to you via My Materials in Moodle up to 1 week before each block starts. Non-digital materials will be available in the campus bookstore 2 weeks before the block starts and you will be notified by email to come pick them up. (No additional cost.)
