Academic Support at Cornell

Navigating college can be exciting and challenging for students and their families. At Cornell, your student’s faculty advisor and the Academic Advising Office work together to support their academic success and help them make the most of their college experience.
Whether your student is exploring majors, strengthening study skills, considering course changes, recovering credits, planning for graduation, or facing academic challenges, there are people ready to help every step of the way.
Frequently asked questions about your student's academics
We want every student to have a successful Cornell experience, but sometimes challenges arise, and you might be the first person they contact.
If you have a concern, please submit a CARE report. Our team will reach out and help the student get back on track. While you won't receive details about the follow-up, every CARE report is reviewd and taken seriously
