Ethel A. Calhoun
Ethel A. Calhoun was born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx where her love for the arts was nurtured. She has worked professionally with West African dance company, Maimouna Keita and the Contemporary African dance company, Forces of Nature, which was based in Harlem. Ethel has also traveled internationally to Latin America, Europe, and Japan with renowned gospel singing groups.
Lovar Davis Kidd
Lovar Davis Kidd is an award-winning choreographer, performance and spoken word artist, and dance instructor. His professional career includes coaching and choreographing for cheer/dance teams, dancing aboard a cruise ship, working as a Disney featured dancer, and dancing for Motion Dance Company. He founded Hip-Hop MOvMNT Dance Company.
Ramon Flowers was a principal ballet dancer in Europe for 12 years. He spent seven years with legendary Maurice Bejart and has danced professionally in Germany, Madrid, Montreal, and on Broadway.
Duane Lee Holland Jr.
Duane Lee Holland Jr. was a member of the Junior National Gymnastics Team. He danced for Rennie Harris Puremovement, the first hip-hop theater dance company. He has taught dance in a host of settings, including MIT, Stanford, and the Pennsylvania Ballet Company, and was assistant choreographer for a Broadway production. Duane serves as the Boston Conservatory's full-time hip-hop faculty member.
Maurice Watson was born and raised in Long Beach, California. He holds an MFA in dance with an emphasis in choreography. He has performed with world-class companies, including Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, Lula Washington Dance Theatre, Disney, Jazz Antiqua, Long Beach Ballet, and Holland America Cruise Line.
