Presidential Search Listening Sessions Communication

Dear Cornell Campus Community,

The Presidential Search Committee is happy to share that we have retained the services of Russell Reynolds Associates to assist us in our search for Cornell College’s next president. Over the next few weeks our search partners will be on campus to get to know Cornell and gather community input on the qualities we seek in our next president. 

We realize this is a very busy time in the academic year, so we are offering you several opportunities to provide your input. Zach Messitte, one of our lead consultants, will be on campus April 22 and 30 to host several listening sessions, locations will be announced soon. If you can't make a listening session, you may submit your written responses by May 1.

April 22

8-8:45 a.m. Faculty Drop In Session

9-9:45 a.m. Staff Drop In Session

12-12:45 p.m. Meeting with Faculty Council and Committee on Committees

April 30

9:30-10:15 a.m. Meeting with Staff (Campus Currents)

12-12:45 p.m. Faculty Drop In Session

3-3:45 p.m. Staff Drop In Session

During May, the Presidential Search Committee will work with our Russell Reynolds partners, to synthesize the input we received from you and craft a compelling position profile. Russell Reynolds will then begin the process of recruiting outstanding candidates that align with Cornell’s vision for our next president.

We understand from Zach Messitte that after the listening sessions are completed, you will have another opportunity for written input by responding to another set of short questions.
