Describe Cornell in one word...

As you are preparing for your college journey, so many new things to learn, could you imagine describing your new college home in just one word? We challenged current Cornell students to do just that...here's what they came up with.

Prepare for your fall move-in

Visiting campus before you move in can prepare you for what to expect and help you plan. You can schedule a visit for a day that works well for your schedule. We also highly recommend you attend a special event with your family that we will host for all new students; we call it Destination Cornell. Meet your future classmates, professors, and see the campus.

As the summer winds down and fall nears, you’ll be attending New Student Orientation right before the beginning of your first block.

Complete your student checklist
