Scott Olinger

Scott Olinger (Production Manager/Scenic and Lighting Designer) holds an M.F.A. in Design from Penn State University and a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Northern Iowa. His work has been seen at Riverside Theatre, Pennsylvania Center Stage, Theatre Cedar Rapids, Juniata College, East Texas Opera Theatre, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Cornell College, Luther College, and on Iowa City Cable Television and Iowa Public Television.  He's served as the scenic and lighting designer for the Jim McDonough Holiday Grande tour for the last three years.  He also serves as the Special Events Coordinator for the Conference Committee of USITT.

Upcoming designs include the Dan Gable - This is Your Life event at Coralville's Fryfest, Riverside Theatre's Feet First in the Water with a Baby in my Teeth, CROT's The Merry Widow, TCR's production of Damn Yankees, and Cornell's upcoming production of COMPANY. In his spare time, Scott raises chickens at his farm house north of Mount Vernon with his wife Courtenay, son Milo, daughter Violet, and new twins, Juliet and Willa.
