Tentative classroom assignments are made by the registrar in the summer for the coming year, and are finalized in the week prior to the beginning of the block. Classrooms assignments are posted in Self-Service. Room assignments are made according to the following criteria (in general order of importance):
- Overall needs of the College
- Specialized equipment or facilities required
- Individual faculty requests
Faculty will be asked to notify the registrar of what classroom features they need for each course in the late spring of each year so that assignments can be made over the summer.
If, due to larger than anticipated enrollment or for other reasons, the assigned classroom is unsuitable, faculty should submit a classroom change request form.
Faculty who are able to share classrooms are encouraged to note this when they request classrooms.
