Welcome parents of new students!

The transition to college can be an exciting and challenging time for everyone and we are here to assist you and your student through this process. The information throughout the New Student Orientation (NSO) website is specifically designed for your student, however we encourage you to look at this information and be familiar with it as you will serve as a valuable resource to your son or daughter throughout their four years at Cornell. There are several tasks your son or daughter will need to complete prior to their arrival on campus. We ask that you become familiar with this check list and assist them in completing everything.

We also invite you to sign-up to receive the Parents Online Newsletter so you can stay informed about happenings on Campus. Also, take a look at the Parent's Gateway website (available from the Cornell homepage by clicking on "Parents") that is updated regularly and serves as a great resource for parents and families. We also invite you to participate in a one day orientation for parents on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. You will receive information in the mail and when you arrive on campus about these opportunities.
