About me:  I am firmly committed to the mission of small, private liberal arts colleges and the kind of personal attention and personal growth that students will find at them in addition to challenging academic career.  It is truly a pleasure to get to work at one as unique as Cornell College, which is only sweetened by the fact that it is also my alma mater.  I graduated from Cornell College in 2005 with majors in mathematics, Spanish and philosophy and played lacrosse while a student.  After graduating, I worked at Cornell for five years before pursuing my master’s degree at Harvard Graduate School of Education.  I am very excited to be back at Cornell again.

One place I recommend students visit on campus:  I have always been a big fan of Ink Pond.  It is a great place on one of those beautiful Iowa days to spend outside and relax in the sun and the breeze.  Additionally, it will always hold a special place in my heart since that is where I got engaged to Robyn, who is also a Cornell College graduate.

What I can do for you:  Listen.  I promise I will listen to you and try to understand what kind of college experience you are seeking.  Then, I will help you understand whether or not Cornell College truly is a good match with your interests, talents, and desires.
