About me: I am originally from Natchitoches, Louisiana and attended high school in Southwest Iowa. I graduated from Cornell in 2007 with majors in Politics and Russian. During my time at Cornell I was involved in the creation of a new fraternity as well as several other activities, including Residence Life, Russian Club, Hockey Club, KRNL Sports, and RCCA. I also was fortunate to spend a semester abroad in Saint Petersburg, Russia. My hobbies include sports—especially basketball, Russian, and reading.

One place I recommend students to visit on campus:  Our classrooms (especially in South Hall, where I had the majority of my politics courses) are wonderful for our discussion-based courses, as they truly foster a collegial atmosphere between students and professors.  I really enjoyed the smaller class sizes and greatly appreciated how all of my professors took an active interest in my academic interests and provided guidance and assistance to ensure that I was successful at Cornell and would be successful after graduation!

What I can do for you: I am here to listen to you and get to know you as a student and person, and I am here to help you throughout the college search.  I can connect your interests and passions with the many opportunities that Cornell can offer you.  Ultimately, I am here to explore whether or not Cornell College would be a good choice for you.  As a regional representative, I work with students from Alaska, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and Northern California.  I hope to meet you on campus or on the road during my travels!
