John Gruber-Miller, Professor of Classical & Modern Languages, teaches a range of courses in classics, Greek, and Latin and is the advisor for Cornell's interdisciplinary classical studies program. He also advises the archaeology program, and his courses contribute to the medieval and early-modern studies major. Gruber-Miller is the editor of the 2006 book When Dead Tongues Speak: Teaching Beginning Greek and Latin, published by Oxford University Press. He also serves as editor of CPL Online, a national peer-reviewed journal dedicated to Latin and Greek pedagogy; secretary/treasurer of AMICI, Classical Association of Iowa; and he maintains two Internet educational sites: Ariadne: Resources for Athenaze and Let's Review Greek!
