If you’re interested in pursuing a career in law, the Berry Career Institute and The Stoll Program for Law and Society provides services and programs to help you prepare and apply to law school in your senior year. Make sure to complete the pre-law form to stay up-to-date on events and information relating to a future in law.

How can the Stoll Program for Law and Society help you?

Your journey to law school starts now, and getting advice from our pre-law advisors along the way will help make you a good candidate for law schools. This is where you can explore law through internships, conversations with law school students and practicing attorneys, and law school visits. Or, if you know that law school is where you want to go, the 3 + 3 program allows you the option to complete two degrees in six years instead of seven, saving a year of tuition and related costs.

When you are ready, we offer an intensive, five-month LSAT prep course, heavily subsidized thanks to the pre-law program. Find out how to choose the right law school and be prepared for the application process for your top choice law schools.

Can't wait to get into the courtroom? You can get involved and make connections through Cornell’s award-winning mock trial team. Debate. Hone your critical thinking and speaking skills. Meet others interested in law.

Law School in the time of COVID-19

The Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) and AccessLex both have put out statements and are compiling resources to help you navigate this uncertain time. Just know that you are not going through this alone and you can meet with an advisor by phone or zoom to help you with any questions you might have.

You'll find that access to content has never been easier! While face-to-face gatherings will be hard to come by, you are encouraged to participate in virtual fairs, and listen in on webinars, podcasts, and more. The events listed below are just a few that are out there. Want to find more content? Talk to a pre-law advisor.
