Clock Tower Hall Clock Tower Hall is air-conditioned and features an attractive lobby, small kitchens and lounges on each floor, a large community space with a sizeable kitchen on the ground level, and great use of natural light. The building is L-shaped with a brick exterior and pitched roof. The College provides furniture in each bedroom, living room, and the common areas in Clock Tower Hall. It is a requirement that all students living in the residence halls participate in the full board plan (14 or 20 meals per week). This includes those students chosen to live in Clock Tower Hall. This includes those students chosen to live in New Hall. 8th and 10th Avenue Apartments The 10th Avenue Apartments are located on 10th Avenue South, near the soccer practice fields. The 10th Avenue complex is made up of one building consisting of two mirror image, two-story duplexes. Eight students live in each side. Each side has five bedrooms (1 triple, 1 double and 3 singles) and a common living room, kitchen and bathroom. Although, all students can participate in the Furniture is provided in each bedroom at 8th Avenue and 10th Avenue Apartments; however the College does not provide common area furniture. Students selected to live in the 8th Avenue and 10th Avenue Apartments may opt for a full or partial (7) meal plan. As a reminder, all students selecting 8th Avenue apartments will be moving into Pfeiffer Hall late in first semester. Rorem Hall Apartment Four male students will live in the Rorem Hall apartment. The apartment has one large bedroom, a common living room, kitchen and bathroom. Due to the age of the facilities, the College cannot guarantee the future viability of the kitchen, nor does the College plan to replace appliances should they fail. The College provides bedroom furniture consisting of a bed, dresser, desk and desk chair for each student. The College does not provide common area furniture. It is a requirement that all students living in the residence halls participate in the full board plan (14 or 20 meals per week). This includes those students chosen to live in the Rorem Hall Apartment. Wilch Apartments Eligibility Selection Process For New Hall, each group of eight people (males, females, or co-ed with single sex rooms) must complete the New Hall Lottery Form. For the 10th Avenue Apartments, each group of eight students (males, females, or co-ed with single sex rooms) must complete the 10th Avenue Apartment Lottery Form. For 8th Avenue Apartments, each group of three students (males, females or co-ed with single sex rooms) must complete the 8th Avenue Apartment Lottery Form. For the Rorem Apartment, each group of four students (males) must complete the Rorem Apartment Lottery Form. One representative from each group will bring the completed form to the Residence Life Office on April 11th between the hours of 8am -4:30pm. Apartments and suites will be granted by the total number of points earned by the group (based on 2008-2009 class standing: 3 points for each senior, 2 points for each junior, and 1 point for each sophomore). Each group will draw a number in case there is a tie for points (lowest number is best). The groups who will be living in the New Hall Suite, 10th Avenue Apartments, 8th Avenue Apartments, and the Rorem Apartment next year will be notified by e-mail on Monday, April 14th. Students may not participate in more than one apartment lottery process a the same time. Students who are not selected to live in an apartment or suite must participate in the residence hall room selection process in April. Questions
