Hall Equipment and Games
Each hall has a variety of board games, videotapes
and other equipment that the Hall Council has purchased. Most halls also
have a vacuum cleaner for student use. Talk to your RA about borrowing
any of these items or visit the RA Office during the scheduled duty hours.
Laundry
Laundry facilities can be found in each residence
hall. One washer load costs $1.25; a dryer cycle costs $1.00. To report
a broken machine or to be reimbursed for lost money, call Residence Life at x4113.
Telephones
Most students bring their own telephones for use
in their rooms. Each student receives written instructions about telephone
procedures. Students may receive direct-dialed calls to their rooms without
going through the campus switchboard. Inform callers to dial (319) 895 +
your extension number. Problems with your telephone should be reported
to the Telephone Services Office at x4357.
Vending Machines
Vending machines and soda machines can be found in
each residence hall. To report a broken machine or get reimbursed for
lost money, contact the Business Office at x4242.
