Humanitarian Fellowship Program Information The Cornell
International Humanitarian Fellowship provides support for a Cornell student to
participate in a month-long summer service project through International
Volunteer Headquarters (http://www.volunteerhq.org).
Fellowships are offered in the following regions and placement areas: Latin
America Fellowship: Ecuador Costa
Rica Peru Africa/Asia
Fellowship: Kenya Tanzania Ghana Nepal India Vietnam Thailand Program Placement Areas*: Teaching (Urban and Rural) Orphanage Street Children Work Sports Education Medical Placement HIV/AIDS Work Women Empowerment Construction and Renovation Jungle Conservation * Placement Areas vary based on region;

International Humanitarian Fellowship will cover the IVHQ Registration and
Program fees, as well as international airfare from Chicago O'Hare. Application [Word] [PDF]
Included: All program-related travel, accommodation, most meals, program
orientation and support services, airport pick-up
Not Included: Some meals, visas (when applicable), vaccinations,
additional travel, travel insurance, spending money
Fellowship recipients must apply separately to the IVHQ program. Program start
dates vary. Recipients are required to submit photos and a reflective statement
on their experience to the Office of International and Off-Campus Studies no
later than 60 days after their return.
