Check in at Residence Life in the Old Sem building on-campus to pick up your keys and have your campus ID made.

Enjoy lunch while other student who have returned to campus early eat and enjoy.

Welcome & PA Introduction (Hedges, Thomas Commons)

Meet your Peer Advocate, Erin, who will help you to get to know campus and meet your peers who are starting classes this block

Parent Session (Shaw, Thomas Commons)

If you have parents or family members joining you, they can attend this session offered by the Vice President for Student Affairs, Dean of Students, Academic Dean, and Residence Life to learn more about your Cornell College experience.

2:00 p.m.

Campus Tours w/stops in Financial Aid, Old Sem, Health Center, Counseling Center, Career Engagement, and Campus Safety

3:00 p.m.

Advisor Meetings (Individual Offices)

Meet with your academic advisor to start building one of the most important relationships you will have on campus.

4:00 p.m.

Viva Mount Vernon

Explore the Mount Vernon community and learn about the downtown area, as you get to know our local businesses.

5:00 p.m.

Dinner (Thomas Commons)

Return to Cornell Dining to enjoy your evening meal.

Breakfast opens at 8:00 and to eat, be inside by 8:30 a.m.

PA Info Session (Law Hall, 221)

Learn about navigating our online programs such as: Self-Service, Moodle, and Community, Registering for IMLeagues.com, Hertz On-Demand, etc

10:30 a.m.

Introduction to the Library (Cole Library)

Service Trip (Office Campus)

Service is an important part of the Cornell College experience.  As a group, we will travel and volunteer with a community partner.

Listen to the experiences of other students on campus as they share the ways they are involved and inside tips about campus life.

If you have questions about registration, tutoring resources, or credits which did or did not transfer, here is your chance to speak with our Registrar and Academic Advising Office to make sure you are ready for classes to begin.

Cornell Policies (Pfeiffer Hall)

Spend some time with Assistant Director of Residence Life Jill Hopper learning about policies in the residence halls and outside of them.
