What We DoMission StatementThe Office of Intercultural Life aims to provide leadership to fulfill Cornell College's mission in appreciation of diversity, affirmation of equal opportunity, and maintaining high academic standards. Intercultural Life has a progressive vision which is rooted in scholarship and leadership, consistent with the institution's goals. The Office promotes a sense of community by creating a supportive environment where students of all cultures have the respect, power, and ability to express themselves and to develop understanding and support for one another. The Office is dedicated to encouraging and implementing a more diverse student, faculty, and staff population while enriching the curricular and co-curricular experience for students. The ultimate goal is to prepare students to be visionary leaders who have the knowledge to effectively address the challenges of life in an intercultural world. |
