FRE 301 Composition & Conversation

French 301 is designed to bridge the gap between language courses and more advanced literature and culture courses.  Students focus on intensive speaking and writing activities, with a wide variety of reading material serving as models of good writing  and springboards to conversation.  The World Wide Web is integrated into all aspects of the course.  Students learn to use French megasites and search engines to locate authentic French-language Web sites.  Information they gather serves as a basis for conversational practice and is integrated into writing assignments.  The Web allows us to visit all the Francophone world from our home on the Hilltop, and share it with you!
