Planning for the Berry Center
The planning for the Berry Center was initiated in October 2004. Over 18 months a planning committee defined the Center's mission and program components. The following individuals made important contributions to the initial planning for the Berry Center:

Kemper Foundation Support
The Kemper Foundation of Chicago, Ill., provided a $35,000 grant in early 2006 to support the Berry Center. This initial investment in the Center allowed Cornell to hire a coordinator and begin aggressively developing the program.
