Getting to Campus

Mount Vernon is located at the intersection of Highways 1 and 30, just 12 miles east of I-380 and 20 miles north of I-80. The Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids (CID) is fifteen minutes away from campus and offers shuttle service to Mount Vernon. Directions to Mount Vernon from the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID)

Turn right from the airport and drive two miles east on Wright Brothers Blvd.
Go north on I-380 (toward Cedar Rapids) for 2 miles
Go east on Hwy. 30 for 12 miles to the four-way stop at Hwy. 1

Directions to the Luce Admission Center at Wade House from Hwy 30 & Hwy 1

Go north on Hwy. 1 (1st Ave SW) for seven blocks to the stoplight
Turn left (west) onto 1st St. SW in downtown Mount Vernon
Go six blocks to the Luce Admission Center at 701 1st St. NW
Visitor parking is available on the west side of the Luce Admission Center
