We'll help you find a way to pay for the experiential learning on our campus. You won't just be a number on a form. You'll get to know our names and we'll get to know your name.

Undergrad research and full-time internships

At Cornell you can conduct undergraduate research with faculty. Full-time internships won't interfere with your coursework, because you can immerse yourself into your internship for an entire Block. Experiential learning, immersion in a subject, and faculty that know you by name are all at the heart of what makes Cornell College (and One Course At A Time) so distinct.

Small classes and immersive discussions

With an average class size of 16 students, immersive discussions are the norm. Everyone has a voice everywhere there is a Cornell class gathered: labs, in the field conducting research, off-campus studies, workshops, and yes, in a traditional classroom.

Cool small town, big cultural charm

Just three hours west, you'll hit collegiate gold in one of America's coolest small towns. (Really. Frommer's named Mount Vernon, Iowa, one of America's Coolest Small Towns for its artistic community, culture, and food.) The real gold in Mount Vernon resides on the Hilltop, where numerous experiential learning opportunities abound thanks to Cornell's distinct One Course At A Time campus rhythm.
