If you have been admitted to Cornell, we would love to see you and your family at one of our Destination: Cornell events. Even if you have already attended an Open House or have visited campus on your own, we promise a day full of fun and new insights to help you make your college decision with confidence.

Why should you attend?

Meet your classmates

Want to find out what Cornell students are really like? There's no better way than to meet your future classmates during breakout sessions designed to start building the class of 2020 community right here, right now.

Meet professors and explore majors

You can schedule time to meet with professors in their offices, or visit with a range of faculty during our Academic Experience Dialogues. And current students will be on hand to perform cool science demonstrations, show you their classroom work, and give you the real scoop on One Course At A Time from a student perspective.

Get your questions answered

Speak with admission and financial assistance counselors about any questions you still have about enrolling at Cornell College. You can also attend informative Interest Sessions and/or request to meet with a coach or other Cornell staff member.

Have fun, eat well, and relax

Hang out with other students in our comfortable lounge and leave with some selfies—possibly wearing some of the accessories we'll provide. Enjoy a meal at the Hilltop Café, ranked second in the nation by BestColleges.com. Stroll our beautiful campus, rub shoulders with Ulysses the Ram, and learn more about what makes Cornell, Cornell.

Stay overnight, attend class on Monday

If you want to experience Cornell to the fullest, consider an overnight stay in the residence halls. You can then sit in on a class on Monday, if you like, while your family attends a reception designed for them. Register early because overnights tend to fill up quickly.

Individual visits

If you can't make it to campus for a Destination: Cornell event or would like a more personalized experience, we're happy to arrange an individual visit tailored to your needs.
