1. Choose a date and location. Check availability on Meeting Room Manager
  2. Check the Master Calendar for other events taking place to avoid overlap
  3. Decide what funding is necessary, and where the funding will come from
  4. Decide if the event will be co- sponsored (if so meet with the other group/office and fill out a co – sponsorship form)
  5. Create an advertising plan
  6. Make a tech request if necessary
  7. Are you paying for an individual to come to campus? Are you showing a film? If so, set up a meeting with the Director of Student Activities
  8. Create a set-up plan
  9. Delegate and involve your entire group in the event
  10. HAVE FUN!
