Advanced engineering and physics students work in the lab.

Once you get into the rhythm of the block plan it’s really time to explore with hands-on learning opportunities. What will you be? Try it. One Course At A Time is uniquely suited to trying new things every 18 days. Never studied philosophy? Take a class. It may become a new passion.

Study off campus for a block—you won’t have homework from any other class to distract you from soaking in the culture.

Think you want to do lab research? Do it. Work in a lab 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for 3.5 weeks. Love it? Great! Not so sure? Try something else next block, and get advice from your faculty advisor and career coaches in the Berry Career Institute about similar careers that aren’t all research every day.
