The McLennan Center brings Cornell students and faculty to the heart of Chicago, near Wrigley Field and a major CTA rail line. You’ll have access to a comfortable living space and classroom space with easy access to Chicago’s educational, cultural, business, and historical resources.
When space is available, the McLennan Center may be reserved for private use by individuals or groups.

Priority for the McLennan Center goes to block-long Cornell courses. The center may also be reserved by the night, week or month for field trips or private use, according to the policies and rates shown below.
Faculty may apply each October to teach a course at the McLennan Center during the following academic year.
During Blocks when the McLennan Center is not fully occupied, faculty may apply for the use of one or more apartment units. Requests must be made prior to the start of a Block, per Cornell's normal policies for course scheduling.
During Blocks or breaks when the McLennan Center is not fully occupied, individuals or groups may apply for the use of one or more apartment units. Reservations for private use during periods when Cornell is in session will not be accepted until the beginning of the current Block.
