Cornell College conferred degrees on 223 students during its first-ever Virtual Commencement ceremony at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 17.  In advance, seniors received a celebration kit in the mail with their cap, Cornell College tassel, and diploma cover. The event took place with graduates, families, and the larger Cornell community watching and commenting on Facebook live.

Student-submitted group photos appeared as the event began. The senior-submitted litany of thanks, or Gratitudes, came next, which is a Baccalaureate tradition. After the reading of the names interspersed with congratulatory videos from faculty and staff, graduates' own congratulatory videos appeared at the end.
