FoodCorps is a year-long service opportunity associated with AmeriCorps that connects kids to healthy food in school so they can lead healthier lives and reach their full potential. AmeriCorps leaders deliver the FoodCorps program in high-need schools focusing on hands-on lessons, healthy school means, and a school wide culture of health. Members serve 1,700 hours over 11 months (September - July) with a week-long orientation in August.
