The Virtual Orange Carpet is our humble attempt to capture the heartbeat of student life at Cornell, all centered around a very orange section of carpet in the center of The Commons. The OC plays host to events ranging from concerts to the student symposium; comedians to pet therapy. It's also the place to find out what's happening on campus, with colorful handmade banners lining the walls and spreading the news. The OC is like our town square, bustling with activity from our dining hall, Roe Howard Fitness Center, campus bookstore, student media offices, and more. Hard to portray on a web page? Definitely. But we aim to try, so keep checking back to see what's going on. |
