Office hours

The health center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended hours on Tuesday evenings until 6:00 p.m.  After hours, call (319) 895-4292 for information on how to contact the physician on call.  Students preferring to call the Mt. Vernon Clinics directly after hours may call Mt. Vernon Family Practice at (319) 895-8841.

Student Health Staff

The Student Health Service Office is staffed by two licensed and experienced registered nurses who work in collaboration with the college’s physicians on a consultation/referral basis. The physicians are from Iowa Health Physicians in Mt. Vernon. Supervising physicians are Dr. Steve Young and Dr. Clayton Schuett.
