Most satisfying and rewarding aspects of your position: Seeing the difference that I make in the lives of young people. As well as having the freedom to develop and find resources that address the needs of the youth that I work with. What jobs or other positions have you held that prepared you for this position? Resident Assistant in Olin Hall. VISTA volunteer (Volunteers in Service to America) What are your occupational and/or educational goals? After being away from the academic arena for 5 years, I now have the desire to return and receive a master degree. It is my hope that with this degree I will be able to positively affect the educational environment that many youth struggle with today. Additional comments: Cornell helped to prepare me for the real world. Not just academically, by teaching me to write and think. But also so from my involvement in student issues on campus. The skills I learned in politics, being able to express myself, and standing for something I truly believe in has most certainly been useful in my daily obligations in the workplace.
