Team Leaders
The Senior Challenge campaign is comprised of volunteer students who are looking for leadership experience with a willingness to educate and raise money for a class gift to Cornell College.Team leader responsibilities include:

Availability to commit time and energy to campaign from February through the end of May with the majority of the work during a two week period in February.

Attend the Kick off reception and training session

Make your own pledge first. We will do this as a group during the kick off. This sets a great example for your peers and shows that you believe in what you are doing!

Select at least 35seniors whom you know and would feel comfortable talking with about the Senior Challenge and submit their names to the Senior Challenge Coordinator. You will be assigned approximately 25 people to visit.

Make your appointments and call on your classmates in a timely fashion. Turn in your pledge forms.

Complete status sheets and follow up with any outstanding results.

Talk about the campaign, get people excited about making history! Serve one shift at the OC during senior week

After you have received a pledge, ask the person to sign the pledge card and give the pledge form back to you. You will turn those pledge forms back to the Senior Challenge Coordinator

Know what you are talking about! Ask questions if there is something about the Senior Challenge that you do no understand.

Attend the Senior Dinner and participate in celebrating the results of the Senior Challenge
Skills and abilities: Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Ability to follow through on duties in a timely manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Enthusiasm and the ability to enjoy friendly competition is a plus.
