290/390: Individual Project
Intensive work in a subject area related to Russian language and/or literature not normally included in the regular course offerings or in-depth study of a topic encountered as part of previous studies. Prerequisite: Completion of 9 term credits, at least 2 of which are in Russian and permission of instructor.

391: Tutorial in Russian
Supervised reading in Russian literature and/or civilization, and discussions and compositions based on the reading. All work to be done in Russian. Prerequisite: RUS 205 and permission of instructor. 

485: Advanced Russian Studies
An independent reading or research project, undertaken in the senior year, and supervised by the Russian Studies Committee. 

501: Theatre in Russian
Group reading, discussion, and preparation of one or more Russian plays. Rehearsals and performances in Russian. Prerequisites: knowledge of Russian and permission of instructor.  Offered subject to availability of staff and level of student interest. 

511: Russian Reading & Conversation Group
Maintenance of Russian language skills through reading and conversation. Offered subject to availability of staff and level of student interest.
