RA Application Process

A resident assistant (RA) at Cornell lives in a residence hall and serves as a leader, helper, and resource person for students.  The RA serves as a critical link between the students on his/her floor, the assistant director for Residence Life, and the Residence Life Office.  This leadership opportunity requires being a representative of the college and a representative of student issues in the hall and across campus.

The resident assistant application process typically begins in December for the following academic year. Refer to details on the RA application process for a detailed time line, job description, and expectations.
