Access to Records
Your Registrar's folder typically contains your Cornell transcript, your high school transcript, standardized test scores, transcripts from other colleges you've attended, and any petitions you may have filed. You have the right to review your records and the College must provide you with access within 45 days of your request. You also have the right to challenge any information contained in your records (with the exception of grades). In the event of an unsuccessful challenge, you have the right to place a statement in your file commenting on the contents of the file.
A full statement of Cornell's policy regarding confidentiality of student records is printed in Cornell's student handbook, The Compass.
