Make-up policy for exams
You will fail any exam you miss unless you have: 1) Approval from the professor in advance to make up the exam; OR 2) A written excuse from a doctor saying that you were unable, due to illness, to attend classes on the exam day; OR 3) you document another excuse (such as death in your family) in a way acceptable to the professor. Make-up exams will not be the same as the regular exams.

Make-up policy for assignments
No make-ups for any reason for in-class assignments. Unexcused lateness for the animal language assignment will result in 0 points or a partial point penalty, at the discretion of the professor. There will be no penalty for assignments missed/late due to an acceptable, documented excuse.

Special accommodations
If you need special test-taking, note-taking, or other accommodations, please discuss your needs with the professor during the first two days of class.
