Mentoring

Pre-law students students are paired with Cornell alumni and friends who are practicing attorneys and judges across the United States. Through this experience, students are able to receive personal guidance throughout all stages of the pre-law process as well as develop mutually beneficial relationships with current legal professionals.

Mentoring partners are encouraged to communicate with each other by email or phone at least once each block. In most situations, mentoring partners are also able to have face-to-face meetings at various points throughout the academic year.

The Law Alumni Mentor program is open to all students. The 2008-2009 application deadline is Friday, September 26. Students will be notified of their Alumni Mentor match during 2nd block. Please click here for the application.
