Our close-knit department offers a major and minor in both physics and engineering sciences. We also support students who wish to pursue a dual-degree program in engineering in partnership with a larger university.
Our programs in engineering and physics provide you with many hands-on opportunities in the lab, both in the classroom and during summer research projects. You will have close attention from your professors in small classes and many opportunities for group projects and problem solving with your classmates.
As a major in one of our programs, you will gain excellent preparation for graduate school while also enjoying the freedom to explore Cornell's liberal arts curriculum, your own interests, and various career options.
