Members of the Cornell Phone Team represent some of the best Cornell has to offer. They function as part of the Office of Alumni & College Advancement. Phone Team Callers strive to educate the college community on the importance of private support and keep alumni connected to Cornell.
Position: Cornell Phone Team Representative, Office of Alumni & College Advancement.
Responsibilties:

Serve as a college ambassador in charge of informing alumni and friends and encouraging them to financially support the Annual Fund and other college programs and priorities.

Solicit gifts for the college from alumni, parents and friends over the telephone.

Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to think quickly in responding to alumni questions and/or concerns.

Function well in a team environment.

Develop strong interpersonal skills by relating to alumni of all ages, parents and friends of the college.

Accept and apply feedback well and remain positive and composed in a sometimes challenging role.

Demonstrate attention to detail while collecting prospect information updates in order to maintain accurate constituent records.
