Student Affiliates of the American Chemicial Society (SAACS) is a group for anyone with an interest in chemistry. We have two main events each year: during National Chemistry Week we perform demonstrations on the OC for anyone interested, and in February we do demonstrations for the local Mount Vernon 5th grade classes. On a more practical note, the group is a great resource to find out about career opportunites in the field and the details of pursuing chemistry in graduate school. |
