BACO seeks to promote awareness and support for African-Americans through its meetings, membership and activities. Open to all students, BACO was created to help provide avenues for change. The foremost goal of BACO is empowerment through community and support. In addition, BACO encourages awareness of African and African-American issues. Awareness is achieved through programs and projects initiated by BACO for the campus and outlying areas. Through these general objectives, BACO strives to heighten awareness of African Americans socially, culturally and academically. |
