Royal Purple Editor-in-Chief
1. Supervises the general production of the yearbook.2. Negotiates all yearbook contracts with the business manager and publishing company representative.
3. Consults with business manager when preparing annual budget.
4. Recruits, trains, and retains a staff.
5. Executes a production schedule.
6. Voting member of the Media Board.
7. Responsible for all inter-office communication as well as maintaining close working contact with the student body, the publishing company, and the administration.
8. Represents The Royal Purple in Senate-related affairs.
9. Lays out the master ladder.
10. Ensures that all pages are finished and sent in to publisher by deadline.
11. Creates layouts.
12. Responsible for training new staff members.
13. Responsible for all yearbook property.
14. Responsible for total success of the yearbook.
Training takes place immediately and the position begins with the start of the following school year.
