Instructions for Applicants for KRNL

All Applicants: Please fill out the "Application for Student Media Head Appointments," Sections A and B. In Section C, provide three references. In addition, e-mail a letter of application to Media Board Chair Dee Ann Rexroat. The letter should include information about any prior broadcasting experience and why you believe that you fit in the radio system. The inclusion of a resume is optional.

Applicants for General Manager: Please include in your letter of application your reflections on the trends that have surfaced this year at KRNL and where you would like to take the station should you become General Manager. Also include your thoughts on promoting the station's interests as well as the interests of the community it is licensed to serve. What prior experience has prepared you for this position? Please indicate if you will be off campus or student teaching for one or more blocks next academic year.

Applicants for Station Manager: Please include in your letter of application your thoughts and views on the role of the Station Manager within the framework of the station. Include your conception of your responsibilities should you become Station Manager and how you would go about performing these responsibilities. Also include relevant experience working with budgets and/or finances (college or high school courses, volunteer work, etc.) Please indicate if you will be off campus or student teaching for one or more blocks next academic year.
