Media Updates
KRNL: They made a couple of minor budget cuts, including cutting an extra microphone.

The new staff is hired and mostly trained. The band that cancelled during KRNL week will be rescheduled for Sept. 2010. About $1,300 was returned to Senate, and another $700 will be returned due to an old business office snafu.

Royal Purple: The new camera is here, and they were able to purchase it for cheaper than originally anticipated. The old camera also appeared on the desk, so the deducted some pages from the budget for next year and will keep both cameras. Both will remain locked up in the Royal Purple editor's office - a handle is need on the outside of the door to make locking it easier. Carol will put in the request.

The yearbooks are in. There are 600 - enough will be reserved for the senior class and to be archived, and then they will be distributed to the rest of the student body on a first come, first serve basis. The eight-page supplement is in the works. About $6,000 was returned to Senate, they had over-appropriated for publishing fees for this year.

Cornellian: Most of the staff is hired, though there are still a couple of positions to fill. These will hopefully be taken care of by next week. With lots of returners on the new staff, training went well. They have one issue left for this year.

The website is still a work in progress - they are working with IT and will hopefully have it up and running sometime over the summer. They returned $760 to Senate - this was money appropriated from the Web upgrade and honoraria for the online editor which wasn't needed due to all the complications.

Old/New Business: none
