Xerox Fiery Printing with OS X Leopard

To add a new printer

Install the Xerox print driver from the instructions located HERE. If you need assistance contact Information Technology at extension 4357.

Add the Printer Queue

1. Click the Apple menu
2. Click System Preferences
3. Click Print & Fax
4. Click the + sign to add a new printer
5. Click the IP button  at the top of the window
6. Enter the following:
Protocol: Line Printer Daemon – LPD
Address: 10.105.114.11
Queue: Hold
Name: CommonsSC-Color (hold)
Print Using: Choose Select Printer Software from the drop down menu, then select Xerox 550-560 Integrated Fiery from the Printer Software window



7. Click Add
8. Customize the Setting up ‘CommonsSC-Color (hold)’ screen:

9. Click OK
10. The CommonsSC-Color hold printer will now show up under the printer list
